Heidi Project
We at DIY PIZZA OVENS were invited out to Dural in Sydney to assist in ‘building a home for Heidi’. Heidi had become a paraplegic less than a year ago after an unfortunate accident.
It took us 3 hours to build the donated pizza oven for Heidi. With the help of our agents Russel and Anita from Goldburn, Moz and Marco from Woolongong, Dave and Leanne from the ACT made the couple of days a fun, productive and rewarding experience for us all. We also had the help of Rudy and Karen from Dural who were the coordinators of the ‘Build a home for Heidi project’ who is now an agent for the DIY PIZZA OVENS in NSW.
The whole project took 4 days to revamp and renovate Heidi’s place in Dural in to an accessible homestead for her family to live in.
